This notice explains what personal information NABS Workforce Solutions Inc. collects through our application forms, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Why we collect your information

NABS Workforce Solutions is a staffing and HR partner. We collect personal information from applicants so we can assess your eligibility and suitability for work, match you to appropriate opportunities, contact you, and, with your knowledge, present your candidacy to prospective employers. Collection is for these reasonable recruitment and employment purposes.

What we collect

Through our employment application, we may collect:

  • contact and identity details (name, phone, email, address);
  • work-eligibility information (authorization to work in Canada, work status, driver's licence class, transportation);
  • the position(s) you're applying for, expected wage, and availability;
  • education, employment history, skills, certifications, and languages;
  • your resume and any information contained in it;
  • emergency contact details you choose to provide.

You are not required to provide optional fields, but missing information may limit our ability to match you to opportunities. We do not ask for your Social Insurance Number at the application stage.

How we use it

We use your information solely for recruitment, candidate matching, placement, and related communication. We do not sell your personal information.

How we store and protect it

Application data is recorded in our secure business systems, and uploaded resumes are stored in a private, access-controlled folder. Access is limited to authorized NABS personnel involved in recruitment. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information.

Disclosure to others

With your knowledge and consent, we may share relevant details of your application with prospective employers or clients for roles you may be suited to. We may also use trusted service providers (for example, secure hosting and document storage) that process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary for recruitment purposes or as required by law, after which it is securely disposed of. You may ask us to remove your information at any time.
